Georgia Man With Last Name 'Miller' Steals Beer Truck, Gets Run Over By Beer Truck

That's not really living the high life, buddy.

According to WRBL, a 56-year-old Columbus man's attempt at stealing an 18-wheeler Coors Light delivery truck early Monday morning ended pretty much as poorly as possible when he crashed it into a fence, forgot to throw it in park and then got run over by it.

Georgia man steals beer truck and runs himself over with it
Police said Gregory Miller nabbed the beer truck when the real delivery guy left it running outside of a local Circle K. When the driver came out of the store, we imagine he must have damn near crapped himself when he noticed it was gone. But he quickly dialed 911, and police located the truck a mere moments later.

Miller then led police on a four-mile high speed chase that came to an end when he crashed the beer truck into a fence behind a Bojangles restaurant. Police said he jumped out of the truck and tried to run from the scene, but that plan was also thwarted when the 18-wheeler he forgot to throw in park ran over his right leg.

Miller was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for a "serious wound and possibly a break to his right leg." He was then charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and eluding police, but the good news is that he should be a finalist at this year's Irony Awards.

Elise Lobb Is Another Hot Golfer Giving You An Excuse To Watch Golf

Aside from knowing that it's mandatory that you wear pleated khakis and a visor while you play, I don't know a damn thing about golf. I don't care to watch golf or wait for middle-aged men to pump their fist in the air when they do something positive. However, when a hot girl plays golf, suddenly golf becomes extremely interesting to me.

This 'Then And Now' Video Shows The Cast of 'Home Alone' 25 Years Later

Then & Now: The Cast of 'Home Alone'

We're not quite sure if the above video will make you feel old or just depressed, but it's still pretty amazing to see what a difference 25 years makes. That's right, we said 25 years. "Home Alone" was released way back on November 16, 1990, but surprisingly most of the cast isn't looking too haggard considering the time jump. In fact, a few of them have aged very well. Well, except maybe Daniel Stern. We have no clue why he looks like a member of ISIS these days.

Intense Moments That Make Real Life Feel Like The Beginning Of An Episode Of 'The Walking Dead'

0
0
Every fan of "The Walking Dead" knows that the opening scene right before the credits sets the tone of the episode. Sometimes it's cryptic, sometimes it's calm and sometimes it's fast-paced, but it's always intense. And you know real life can be intense, too. Sometimes unfortunate situations happen in our day-to-day lives that may not be quite as horrifying as being chased by a herd of walkers, but fill us with fear, anxiety and/or discomfort on an intense level. These moments of our lives aren't television, so they don't come with dramatic music, but if they did, this is what "The Walking Dead" in real life (#TWDIRL) would look like.

That intensely frustrating moment when you've poured milk on your cereal only to
find that there are no clean spoons.

In the begging of The Walking Dead's 6th season premiere episode, "First Time Again," it shows Rick and the crew having a plan go catastrophically awry - almost as bad as planning to have cereal but then realizing all of your spoons are dirty. Now your precious oats and grains are getting soggier by the second, requiring a hasty, impromptu utensil washing session. That's intense.

That intense moment when you get to the gym and realize you forgot your headphones at home.

When they need supplies or what have you on "The Walking Dead," deciding whether or not to make a run is a big decision, and in this scenario, a similar burden is yours: workout with no music, or return home to recover your coveted headphones.

That intense moment the morning after a long night of partying when you check your bank account balance.

You had your fun the night before and now it's time to face the music... and the overdraft fees. If they weren't in the middle of the zombie apocalypse and finances were a concern on "The Walking Dead," surely we would've seen an episode start like this by now.

That intense moment when you see a bug, look for something to kill it with, then suddenly it's gone.

Now you're a prisoner in your own home, terrified that this creepy-crawly is lurking, perhaps gathering his insect homies, waiting to pounce on you at any given moment. Let's be real, roaches may be smaller, but they're just as terrifying as zombies.

That intense moment when you drop your phone and can only hope the screen isn't cracked.

Are you about to stare directly into a shattered, scratched disaster, or did you and your phone avert a potential crisis unscathed? It's basically like the death of a character on "The Walking Dead" being left dangling in the balance on a cliffhanger.

That intensely uncomfortable moment when you're watching a movie with your parents and a sex scene comes on.

People in close confines giving intensely uncomfortable vibes? Hmm, sounds like the 13th episode of The Walking Dead's third season, titled "Arrow On The Doorpost." The cold open shows Rick Grimes and The Governor meeting face-to-face. It has that awkward, tense buildup and it's just intensity, Intensity, INTENSITY BOOM! OPENING CREDITS. A sex scene during a movie with your parents feels the same, except you don't have the luxury of credits to ease the stress - you're just, there.

That intense moment when you hear a bump while you're in the shower and feel like this is where your life ends.

In the first episode of the fifth season of "The Walking Dead," the opening scene makes it appear that they're all screwed; Glenn is even a split second away from being smashed in the head with a baseball bat. When you're trying to wash your body and suddenly you're hearing bumps, it can feel like you're definitely about to be murdered -- "The Walking Dead" levels of intensity.

That intensely dreaded moment when you're in the bathroom doing your business, only to find that there's no toilet paper.

Whether all of the toilet paper is gone, or it's just in a location that's beyond arm's reach, this is the equivalent of being cornered by a bunch of walkers with zero weapons - only your hands.

That intensely disappointing moment when you find out the song you like is by an artist you're ashamed of.

"The Walking Dead" is full of betrayal, and sometimes we're betrayed by our own two ears when we enjoy a piece of music created by an artist we definitely don't want to admit to liking. It's a powerfully confusing, disappointing, shameful feeling when Shazam informs you of something you didn't even know about your personal preferences.

Does This Woman On 'Jeopardy!' Have The Most Annoying Voice On The Planet?

The only time anyone checks in on "Jeopardy!" is when something hilarious occurs or when a moment from the show has gone viral, and this is not any different.

Laura Ashby, a Vanderbilt and Yale educated law associate, recently appeared as a contestant on your grandmother's favorite show "Jeopardy!" Everything seemed pretty typical until she spoke. Check out what Laura's family has to deal with on a daily basis:

What Laura is doing is called upspeak or uptalk, and it pretty much involves inflecting your voice at the end of every sentence. It also involves pushing all your loved ones away from you forever.

The NBA Replay Center Got Busted Watching 'Animal House' Last Night

Odds are you missed last night's 76ers-Timberwolves game, and that's probably because the Philadelphia 76ers were playing the Minnesota Timberwolves.

But with the game tied at 91 late in the fourth quarter, the NBA Replay Center was summoned to take another look at a ball that went out of bounds. Cameras cut to the crew in Seacaucus, New Jersey, and let's just say they seemed to be about as thrilled about having to actually watch this game as the rest of the country:

"Here's the look at what they're looking at at the NBA Replay Center," and apparently the answer is the toga party scene from "Animal House."

Hey, it could have been worse, as the two scenes immediately following the toga party involve Otter taking down an inebriated Mrs. Faber and Pinto debating whether or not to go forward with the mayor's daughter, who's laying passed out and topless in his bed.

Or it could have been even worse than that, as they could have been asked to watch even more of the 76ers-Timberwolves game, which finished with Minnesota eking out a 100-95 victory.

Stripper Allegedly Beats Patron After He Tells Her To Lose Some Weight

Geez. Did he also drop in that she was almost as good of a dancer as her mother?

According to The Smoking Gun, a 23-year-old asshole in South Carolina said he was recently assaulted by a stripper after he told her to "go to the gym and lose weight."

stripper hits patron after he tells her to lose weight
Kyle Yeomans said the beating happened early Sunday morning at Derriere's Gentlemen's Club in Myrtle Beach. Yeomans added that despite the fact that his level of intoxication was "an 11 out of 10," it was the stripper who was "annoying him" because she was "trying to talk to him and he was tired of it."

That's apparently when he told her to drop some pounds even though he estimated that she weighed somewhere between 115-120 pounds, and she allegedly responded by hitting him in the face several times. Yeoman's friend witnessed the event and said he saw his pal get struck four times in the face, causing minor injuries.

But let's be honest: After saying something like that to a stripper at a Myrtle Beach club just before 2 a.m., Yeomans should feel lucky that he still has a pulse.

Suspicious Guy Pretends To Be Girlfriend's Lover On Snapchat To Catch Her Cheating

Not only is it a horrible idea to cheat on your partner, it's an even worse idea to think you're going to get away with it, and the guy in this story made sure to go to some lengths in order to catch his girlfriend.

The unnamed guy in this story already had suspicions that his girlfriend was cheating on him with another man, a mutual friend of theirs, so he decided that the only logical way to figure this out was to create a fake account on Snapchat and pretend to be that guy. That's when things got interesting.

The photo above is just one snap that the unnamed guy's girlfriend sent, thinking she was sending it to her lover instead. Here are some more snaps that her "lover" received.

The guy decided to screenshot the snaps and not only post it on Facebook, but tag the "mutual friend" as well. And, of course, it has gone viral.

Since the couple has not been identified, some people are wondering if this is actually legit or not. One thing is for real, though: I seriously need to start adding better people on Snapchat.

This Is How The Japanese Teach Multiplication

0
0

The majority of us can't figure out any math problem without the use of electronics, but the Japanese have their own way of teaching multiplication. And it doesn't involve cheating by using that calculator on your phone.

You're going to need a paper and pen for this, so if those two things haven't gone extinct in your household, pull them out.

How The Japanese Solve Multiplication Problems

Write out the problem and begin drawing as many individual lines representative by each number in the problem. Whatever number you're multiplying by should go horizontally. So 21 x 13 would have you drawing two vertical lines as well as one line vertically. And one line horizontally, and so on. Think of it as the worst planned game of Tic-Tac-Toe ever.

Once you're done, just count how many times the lines intersect and you have your answer. So put your phone away. You can do math all by yourself now.

Don't think this will help for this problem: The Internet Is Going Nuts Over This Math Problem From Singapore

Here Are The Top 10 Porn Search Terms For Every Year Since 2009

Imagine how great this country would be if we spent all of this time searching for jobs instead.

According to Brobible, the most searched term in porn this year was "lesbian," the first time it's been at the top of the list since 2010, and we know this because Pornhub's insights team released a beautiful chart detailing the top ten searched terms for every year since 2009.

top ten porn search terms since 2009

"Lesbian" was a solid change from the creepy "teen" that topped the chart a year ago, although it only fell one spot to number two in 2015. It was followed by "step mom," "cartoon" and "milf," which at number five had its worst showing since debuting at number one in 2009.

The only new addition to the top ten this year was "step sister," which debuted at number eight ahead of "massage" and "hentai." And if "step sister" finding its way into the top ten is partly your doing, might we suggest clearing your browser on a frequent basis if you share a computer with one in real life.

Watch This Genius Kid Solve A Rubik's Cube In Less Than Five Seconds

It's not like I was actively searching for something to further prove my worthlessness, but this clip sure did the trick anyway.

First it was Leonardo da Vinci. Then along came Nikola Tesla, and he was followed by Albert Einstein. And now it looks as though we can add 14-year-old Lukas Etter to the list of the biggest geniuses this planet has ever known.

At Saturday's River Hill Fall 2015, a Rubik's Cube competition held at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland, Etter bested his own personal record of solving a Rubik's Cube by .6 seconds and set the world record in the process when he solved it in...wait for it...4.9 seconds.

Thankfully, somebody captured video of Etter's feat, but be forewarned: It's going to blow your mind.

Love, Lust and Restraining Orders: The Latest in Free Dating Apps

0
0
Although "dating season" might be over just before the holidays, it never hurt to have one of these handy-dandy dating apps to pass the most miserably lonely time of the year, because, hey, it's better than buying a prostitute, are we right? Now have a look at the most popular dating apps, some newer than others, and find out which one would get you in the sack ... um, we mean toward making a date ... the fastest.

Tinder
Dating Apps, It's a Match
We've all seen a number of terrifying Tinder moments as well as some genius Tinder players, but the app best suited for men who want to bed women in the most effortless manner still stands as one of the giants. Now with limited swipes right, unless you pay the $19.99 a month for unlimited swipes, the task of finding Miss Right Now requires a little more calculation. The app has gotten a few upgrades, including the one Super Like -- try super creepy -- that sits conveniently right next to the "No" button and the spacing between girls you matched and won't talk to (the top horizontal list), above the list of the actual conversations (vertical list) where you spend most of your time trying to convince girls to talk dirty or plainly come over and bone.

Bumble
Dating Apps, Bumble
Regarded as "Tinder for girls," Bumble is the app that changes the rules in the girls' favor, allowing only them to make the first move and putting a time limit of 24 hours on making that first move, too -- before that love is lost. This avoids a false sense of chivalry and ultra creeps, and according to most women who use it, the quality of man is much higher in both physical and professional attributes. Sorry, boys, you're better off creeping elsewhere, as these women apparently have some shred of self-respect, whatever that is. Looks like the girls are wearing the daddy pants now!

Happn
Dating Apps
Like Tinder, Happn focuses on matching people in close by, but this app also takes it to the next level by suggesting people you may have crossed paths with at some point, based on your built in GPS and possibly other personal information you didn't voluntarily offer up. It's almost as intrusive as "The Happening," one of Rotten Tomatoes most rottenly reviewed movies, so bad you have to watch.

Hinge
Dating Apps, Hinge
Think Facebook mutual friends, like Tinder, only this app's more set on matching people in this manner, as opposed to complete stranger creeping. This, in turn, forces people to act accordingly, hopefully reducing the number of unsuspecting dick pictures and dry vagina phone rubs (I'm trying to start a new trend here!). Just select your interests, like brunch, desserts or other things gross people like to do when they have free hands, then choose from the five offered matches each day at noon. If that's not enough, you'll have to go outside! In the sunshine! With the people!

Coffee Meets Bagel
Dating Apps, Coffee Meets bagel
More popular on the East Coast, CMB curates a single "bagel," or match, each day at noon -- hey, that's a little late for bagels -- based on mutual friends and interest. Instead of blindly swiping until your fingerbanging fingers fall off, this gives you a quality over quantity take on finding someone of value. Probably more for the relationship interested than the fly-by-night philanderer, Coffee Meets Bagel is aptly named for delicious, long-lasting combos, unless of course you like cream in yours. Nailed it!

Hitch
Dating Apps, Hitch
This is the worst app idea for guys: letting your friends do the matchmaking for you. That's like the time they voted you the prom king -- but they also voted for the scariest girl in school as the queen. With Hitch, your friends match you up with someone else, going by mutual friends, age and gender, and then you blindly head into a chat before you're allowed to reveal yourself. Yep, that's a train wreck speeding into town.

Down Dating
Dating Apps, Down Dating
Cut the foreplay and get right to the ... foreplay. This app promotes itself as "honest dating," where you select "sexy people" and wait for a match before you "get down." If there were a quicker way to get HIV, other than dating you-know-who, we'd be amazed.

Grindr
Dating Apps, Grindr
Because love knows no boundaries, especially if they're right down the road. Okay, there is something quicker than Down Dating ...

black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015

It's time again for the hair-pulling-est, back-stabbing-est, thankstaking-est holiday of all: Black Friday - the mother of all discount days in retail stores across the country. Tired from reading all that? Well, that's nothing compared to how you'll feel after getting trampled while trying to score any of these big buys come the day after Thanksgiving. See if you can track any of these hot items down on Friday, November 27 or plan to see a lot of tears on Christmas morning.

65" LG 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, Amazon ($1397, down from $2499)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
The first thing that comes to mind when you hear "Black Friday" is the big expensive TV set you otherwise would have no chance of affording (or being allowed to buy). This year, LG has the latest in top-of-the-line resolution in its gargantuan 65-inch Ultra HD TV. The LED screen offers Smart TV options so you can pull up all your TV junkie subscriptions in the click of a remote. At nearly 50 percent off, how could you not?

60" Samsung 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, Best Buy ($799, down from $1499)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
For folks trying to stay a little grounded in their spending but still interested in getting top-shelf TV merchandise, Best Buy is rocking a 60-inch Samsung Smart TV package. This item also features the 4K Ultra HD resolution, and at a slightly less gargantuan size, you can spend half as much and still go blind sitting too close to it. That may be an old wives tale, but your brain will, however, slowly rot.

Apple iPad Air 2 64GB Staples ($449, down from $599)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
Fans of the latest Apple tablet line will be thrilled to see $150 off its iPad Air 2. Slimmer, lighter and sexier than ever in its new colors, the tablets are going faster than turds in a toilet flush, and even faster when people see the markdown. In addition, the 16GB model is down to $378, and the original iPad Air - that old, useless piece of crap no one wants - is down to $319 from $399. All this and AppleCare for only $99? It must be Christmas!

Apple iPad Mini 4 ($299, down from $399)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
People who can't handle the weight of the Apple tablets will be overjoyed this shopping season to see that their iPad Mini models are also on the discount rack. Down $100 for the new Mini 4 model, Apple's best travel tech is getting chopped at the price by places like Staples. And for folks who want even more discount, the previous model, Mini 2 - don't ask us why, but there is no iPad Mini 3 - is going for a measly $239, down from $299.

Fitbit Flex Wireless Wristband, Walmart ($59.99, down from $99.99)

Between the smart wearables at Walmart and the Jawbone UP3 down to $99 on Amazon, fitness-friendly folks are getting their sporty arm wear at nearly half the price this fall. For anybody looking to count calories, monitor their sleep patterns or track just how lazy they are, now is the most affordable time. Walmart also has up to $20 off new and popular video games where sitting around on your couch is concerned.

Bose Solo 15 TV Sound System, Amazon ($299, down from $449)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
If you're planning on splurging on a good television this Black Friday, may we recommend getting a sound system to back it up? With a single speaker that'll blow your TV's stock sound away (not to mention your neighbors'), it connects wirelessly to your devices as well as to your TV so you can get clarity in your music, movies and ambient noises while you do yoga nude in front of your neighbors. Damn, you must really hate them.

Apple Watch, Best Buy ($100 off)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
The hottest new wearable technology of the year is surprisingly on discount for its first holiday. The glorious, shiny and sporty Apple Watch is a huge $100 off at Best Buy. In addition, Target - Targè to the fancy shoppers - is giving a $100 gift card to buyers of the watch, which you can then reuse to buy more Christmas items like blenders, cutting boards and other kitchen appliances you'll never use. The Apple Watch also comes in two body sizes - 38 and 42mm - and a number of finishes, bands and colors. Choose wisely.

Microsoft Surface 3, Best Buy ($399)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
The 10.8-inch 64GB tablet is down $100, giving Microsoft-loving tablet mongers 1.6 Ghz of raw power in a silver fox shell for one of the most affordable prices in the Microsoft tablet market. The same goes for Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2, which is also down $100 to $399 to holiday buyers for a limited time.

Nikon D3200, Amazon ($480 off)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
Anybody looking to get away from Instagram and take some real photographs in the coming year may want to look to Nikon for answers. Retailing at $879, you can get the new Nikon D3200 with 24-megapixel resolution and an 18-55mm stock lens for under $400. That's more than 50 percent off the new model on Amazon. You couldn't beat that deal if you stole it. Well, half of it anyways.

Apple TV, Target (25% off)
black friday deals 2015, black friday biggest buys 2015
The new Apple TV is sleek, sexy and Siri-inspired as the new box with its new layout goes for the slightly higher price of $149. But the good news is that Target is offering the Apple TV at 25 percent off, which is one more reason to own every Apple product and hide away alone with them, never speaking to anyone again (at least until next Black Friday).

Top 10 TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations of All Time

0
0
Hollywood and superheroes go hand in hand. While comic books are known to translate well on screen with their colorful imagery, a graphic novel also offers plenty of depth and dimension to fill a movie screen, too. Here are our top ten best TV and movie graphic novel adaptations.

#10 - Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's six volume "Scott Pilgrim" series, this comedy stars Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim who must battle his girlfriend Ramona's seven exes, who are hunting him down to kill him. With mixed reviews upon its release, "Pilgrim" has gained a solid cult following over the years. The graphic novel's black and white pages explode with color in this screen adaptation, but the action in both is fast-paced and frantic. Plus, the casting of lanky, long-limbed Cera as a Canadian martial arts superhero seems just about right.

#9 - Dredd (2012)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, Dredd
What do you do to top the 1995 Sylvester Stallone adaptation of the British import "Judge Dredd" co-starring Armand Asante and Rob Schneider? You make an ever better one, of course. 2012's "Dredd" may have none of the high-voltage stars of the original adaption, but it was the movie that fans of the magazine series, comic books, and "Mega Collection" graphic novel series came to like the most. Though the film abandons the novel's satirical elements, audiences approved of its larger-than-life dystopian world and its gut-wrenching visual effects.

#8 - Tales from the Crypt (1989-1996)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, Tales from the Crypt
HBO is known for its critically-acclaimed original programming and "Tales from the Crypt," in all its campy, horrific (often times explicit) glory, was a big part of the network's cutting-edge offerings. The show culls its material from an eponymous 1950s horror anthology that kicks the raw brutality of earlier comics and pulps up a notch with otherworldly horror and humor. The graphic novel had a short lifespan -- just five years -- due to conservative mores of the time, the U.S. government imposed heavy restrictions on comic books and the scope of the narratives they could tell. But 30 years later, with the aid of an animated corpse named the Crypt Keeper and groundbreaking special effects that would soon become Hollywood's norm.

#7 - Kick-Ass (2010)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, Kick-Ass
Inspired by the dreams of a teenage wannabe superhero, the graphic novel "Kick-Ass" tells the story of a powerless young loser, Dave Lizewski, who has no business fighting crime in a costume but does so anyway, gets pummeled in the process, and inspires others to take this reckless course of action until their persistence starts to generate encouraging results. Though the film adaptation got mixed reviews, and was kicked around unabashedly by its haters, fans of the graphic novel praised its dedication to the original, particularly its embrace of ultra violence. Not only did it pull no punches, but the film version also featured Nicholas Cage in a laudable performance.

#6 - From Hell (2001)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, From Hell
Capitalizing on Jack the Ripper's real-life unpunished misdeeds, "From Hell" takes all the darkness from the non-fiction intrigue of this lethal legend. The film adaptation stars Johnny Depp out on the murderer's trail with all the shadowy terror the graphic novel. Illegitimate kids, royal cover-ups, disposable prostitutes, and a dogged, junkie detective are all illustrated in cutting-edge ways for the genre.

#5 - Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, Batman: The Animated Series
Critics say "Batman: The Animated Series" was not adapted from any one of the iconic superhero's graphic novels, but delving into the glossy pages of the likes of "The Dark Knight Returns," "Death in the Family," or "The Killing Joke," what you see is a tectonic shift in Batman's tone, and maybe comic books as a whole themselves. It would be hard to imagine this shift affecting the frolicking 1960s-era TV depiction starring Adam West or '70s "Superfriends" kid-friendly version had they not come first. But by the '90s a new tone had been set, "Batman: The Animated Series" appealed to a wide-array of fans, not just youngsters, advanced the story of Gotham's universe, and even gave birth to original supervillian Haley Quinn who herself has now become a DC Comics staple.

#4 - 300 (2006)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, 300
Frank Miller's blood-soaked beauty "300" retells the historic Battle of Thermopylae where, in a dramatic show of heroism, the Greeks stood strong during a Persian invasion for which they were hugely outnumbered. They fought bravely, held their ground, and returned force upon their enemy until they were eventually extinguished. In the masterful film adaptation, style and CGI took these barbarous pages to new heights -- bringing all the gory and gruesome history to the big screen in captivating fashion.

#3 - Sin City (2005)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, sin city, frank miller's sin city
Before Frank Miller struck gold with his "300" adaption, he hit it big with the neo-noir crime thriller anthology "Sin City." Brought to life with an all-star cast including Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Clive Owen, "Sin City" literally painted the pages from Miller's graphic novel onto the big screen with jaw-dropping results. Directed by screen virtuoso Robert Rodriguez (with an assist by Miller himself) this is one of the finest examples of a filmmaker who wrote an original graphic novel and transliterated it for the screen, without compromising his vision.

#2 - The Walking Dead (2010-Present)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, the walking dead
AMC scored big time with its runaway hit "The Walking Dead", giving fans of both the TV show and the graphic novels upon which its based, two awesome yet completely alternate universes. Watching the edge-of-your seat uprising of the un-dead week after week, year after year has proven to all of us that today's TV programming and originality is still very much alive.

#1 - X2: X-Men United (2003)
TV and Movie Graphic Novel Adaptations, Best, Top Films, X2, X-Men United
"X2: X-Men United" is the quintessential superhero film. It chronicles mutants and their struggle for acceptance with iconic heroes sporting retractable claws, storm-summoning strength and one who can kill with a simple touch, but all this was secondary to a deeply-engrossing story line. Adapted from the graphic novel "God Loves, Man Kills," "X2" boasts a solid story grounded by the work of live actors in a genre where superhero movies increasingly rely on computer-generated special effects and action sequences.

The Condom Challenge Is The New Craze That's Sweeping The Internet

It was beginning to feel odd that the Internet hadn't come up with something ridiculous to do, but now it seems they were just prepping to release their latest stunt that has spread like an awful Justin Bieber song that you can't help but to quietly hum while hoping no one hears: the condom challenge.

Condom Challenge
The challenge is quite simple actually. Make a friend, get a condom, fill that condom with water so that you're left with a huge balloon that you may or may not use for your sibling's birthday party later, and then have your friend stand above you with the condom.

Your friend then simply drops the condom on your head and if everything goes well, it should create a bubble effect around your head.

Condom Challenge
Although, worst case scenario is that it blocks your airway, which is what many people are concerned about, but that doesn't stop people from doing it because, you know, everyone else is doing it.

While the ice bucket challenge was to raise awareness for ALS, this challenge is to apparently show that condoms are extremely strong and durable and no dude should say he's "too big" for it.

The trend seems to have been started by the two dudes below:

Ohio Pizzeria Offers Thanksgiving Dinner For Lonely And Hungry Folks
Here's a feel-good story a day before Thanksgiving so that you can head into Turkey Day ready to fill your mouth hole with your friends and family. (That didn't sound right.)

Bada Bing! Pizzeria, a pizzeria in Springfield, Ohio, are trying their best to spread a little holiday cheer to those less fortunate by offering food to all those lonely and hungry folks who may not have anywhere to go tomorrow.

Ohio Pizzeria Offers Thanksgiving Dinner For Lonely And Hungry Folks
The pizza joint posted a notice on their door that read "We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. However, we will be having dinner here around 2pm with our family, employees, and friends. If you are hungry or don't have any money, please come in. We will welcome you and make sure you get plenty to eat."

The notice has caught the attention of the Internet as it reached the top of Reddit, and it has put the pizzeria on the map.

Plenty of positive comments have poured in for the pizzeria and their generous offer, and hopefully it encourages other businesses to do the same.

I think sometimes we are so busy filling our bodies with food and shortening our lifespan that we forget that there are plenty of people out there who aren't as fortunate. Be sure to help someone in need tomorrow as well, folks.
