    Humans have been experimenting with potions, serums and foods as aphrodisiacs since ancient times. While popular American sex boosters include chocolate, oysters and spicy peppers, other cultures have a more eclectic mix of mojo enhancers. From snake blood to dried tiger penis, we've found the most bizarre love drugs from across the globe. Check them out and be very thankful that your father doesn't stop by every weekend to bond over a big bowl of bull ball soup.

    1. Cobra Blood (China, Southeast Asia, The Philippines)

    Catching, killing and then drinking the blood of a cobra to boost sex drive is a Cantonese tradition that dates way back to around 205 B.C. While some restaurants serve this aphrodisiac either straight up or with alcohol, a person supposedly gains more benefits from the blood if they catch and kill the lethal creature themselves.

    2. Cow Cod Soup (Jamaica)

    A rural delicacy and aphrodisiac in Jamaica, cow cod soup consists of a rum-based broth filled with bananas, chili peppers and bull genitalia (both twig and berries, or more appropriately, log and melons). Only eaten by men, the concoction is said to increase virility and re-establish a flagging libido.

    3. The Spanish Fly (Europe)

    When the secretions of a specific European blister beetle come in contact with human skin they cause irritation and swelling. Due to the latter, European men have been using the beetle serum to incite erections since the days of Caesar. The only problem with this particular aphrodisiac is that it often results in a never-ending boner that requires medical attention.

    4. Fetal Duck Egg (The Philippines, Southeast Asia)

    A snack often sold on the sidewalk for as little as $1 each, this libido enhancer called "balut" is considered most effective when the fetus is approximately 17 days into gestation. After drinking the egg's liquid, the shell is peeled back to reveal the yolk and young chick inside, both of which are then consumed. You can learn even more  in the video below:

    5. Stewed Crocodile (Thailand)

    Many cultures believe that when you eat a specific animal you take on their characteristics. In Thailand, people chow down on crocodile to obtain the reptile's appetite and aggression, which come in handy between the sheets. Canned croc stew has become a regular on grocery shelves, allowing Thais to have their aphrodisiac and keep their hand too.

    6. Skink (Lizard) Flesh (North Africa)

    Ancient Roman scholar and author Pliny the Elder may be responsible for the skink's role as an arousing creature: in Natural History he stated that certain parts of the lizard should be steeped in wine with rocket seed and drunk to enhance sexual appetite. While skinks are now more often kept as pets than eaten, native tribes in North Africa still devour the lizards for libido.

    7. Leaf-Cutter Ants (South America)

    Given to couples as a marriage gift since Pre-Columbian times, these two centimeter long insects are soaked in water and roasted, creating a crunchy treat that is said to taste like bacon. Popularized and harvested by the Guane Indians, this literal love bug is still available in several Columbian towns today.

    8. Deep Fried Tarantula (Cambodia)

    First eaten out of necessity and later valued for their mojo-magnifying venom, this gourmet delicacy has more recently become a popular item at markets frequented by tourists. The spiders-often as big as the palm of a man's hand-are typically mixed with MSG, sugar, salt and garlic then fried until crunchy on the outside but gooey on the inside.

    9. Ambergris (Europe, Middle East, China)

    A solid, waxy substance regurgitated or defecated by sperm whales, ambergris is mainly used as a fixative in perfumes. However, from the 15th to 19th Centuries the waste product was also a popular aphrodisiac. Tinctures, salves and balms containing the ingredient were rubbed on the skin to encourage arousal. Some Far Eastern cultures still use ambergris for this purpose.

Killing tigers for aphrodisiacal purposes has helped land them on the endangered species list. Luckily, the spread of Viagra is helping to get them off.

Romantic Gestures Gone Wrong

    Love makes us all do some pretty stupid things sometimes. Lucky for us, those dumb things that we do don't end up almost killing us or on the internet for millions of people to laugh at. 

    Unfortunately for these people, they weren't as lucky. Here are some stories of people who set out to do something sweet, but just ended up looking incredibly stupid. 

    Boyfriend Almost Dies After Mailing Himself to Girlfriend
    A boy in southern China came up with the brilliant plan to mail himself in a box to his girlfriend in honor of her birthday. When the package arrived at the office where the girl worked, she opened it (along with a friend who was in the know to record the event) and found her boyfriend completely passed out. The boy didn't think it would take very long for the delivery to be made, but apparently, the sealed box was lost in the post office for three hours. After paramedics had revived him, he explained, "I didn't realize it would take so long. I tried to make a hole in the cardboard but it was too thick and I didn't want to spoil the surprise by shouting."

    Man Pretends to Drown to Impress Girlfriend

    A man who had been fishing with his pal called it quits when they realized the water was too rough. Rather than call it a day, the man decided it would be cool to call his girlfriend to tell her their boat had flipped over and he was stranded in the middle of Lake Ontario. Like any loving girlfriend would do, the woman immediately dialed 911 to alert the authorities of the emergency. After a few more prank calls, the boyfriend claimed he was back safely in the boat and headed back to shore. When the 911 dispatcher called the man to check on him, he explained that he was actually in the parking lot of a grocery store and made the whole story up to impress his girlfriend.

    Man Loses $10,000 Ring in Balloon

    As a surprise to his girlfriend, a man asked a local florist to put an engagement ring into a balloon filled with helium so he could literally "pop" the question. The florist warned the man about the possibility of the balloon getting away from him, but the man would hear nothing of it. Shortly after he left the shop, a gust of wind yanked the incredibly expensive balloon out of his hands and up into the air. The man watched it fly away and spent two hours trying to chase it down in his car before finally giving up hope. Somewhere in the world there is a very expensive piece of latex stuck in a tree.

    Woman Falls Off Cliff After Proposal 

    A woman and her boyfriend were hiking at Great Falls Park near Washington D.C. when the boyfriend surprised her with a marriage proposal. The woman said yes just before falling about 10 feet down a rock face. She lost consciousness and eventually had to be rescued by helicopters. This had to have been one of the few times that being head over heels in love isn't necessarily a good thing.

    Man Makes Girlfriend Deaf with Passionate Kiss

    In southern China, a young woman suffered the "kiss of deaf" after her boyfriend kissed her so incredibly hard he ruptured her eardrum. The woman completely lost hearing in her left ear due to the kiss reducing pressure in her mouth, which caused the eardrum to be pulled out. The woman's hearing returned after about two months or so, but it was probably a very long time before those two really went at it again.

    Goodbye Kiss Shuts An Entire Airport Down

    Once upon a time, people were allowed to escort airline passengers all the way to their boarding gate before having to say their goodbyes. We all know that's not the case anymore. One man apparently didn't get the memo. At the Newark Airport in New Jersey, a man slipped underneath a security cordon in order to give a female passenger, who already been through security, a farewell kiss. Sure, it seems like a grand romantic gesture, but tell that to the thousands of other passengers whose flights were delayed and who had to go through security all over again after it caused the airport to be closed for hours.

    Fully Grown Man Impersonates Cupid

    A soldier in the UK thought it would be romantic to strip down to his boxers in public and act like cupid. With hopes of impressing his girlfriend, the man attempted the moronic stunt during a soccer game. For added effect, the barely-clothed man used a bow and arrow to fire a dozen red roses as he ran on the field. Naturally, he was tackled by security and then arrested. He was fined over $300 and banned from future soccer games for the following three years. His superiors in the military warned him that there might be a court martial in his future. And what about his girlfriend, you ask? She was so embarrassed that she dumped him.

    Man Uses Fake Check to Pretend He's Incredibly Wealthy 

    Let's close this thing out by heading back over to China, where a man decided that pretending to have an exorbitant of money would be the best possible way to impress his woman. Rather than just buy some expensive looking clothes or renting an expensive car, the man chose to buy a fake check to attempt to deposit into his account. The amount of the check was $36.5 million, so it was no surprise that the bank clerks were suspicious when it was presented to them. After the police were called, the man admitted to purchasing the fake check for $70, but said he only did it because he really wanted to impress his lady love.

    There are millions of websites dedicated to women and their endless search for companionship, but what about us men? Do we not cry ourselves to sleep every lonely night next to a table of empty ice cream containers after a lengthy run of early '90s soap operas?

    Maybe it's a coincidence that, as of 2012, the number of single people in the U.S. closely resembles the number of people who are enrolled in online dating. Maybe it's just a sign that people are looking in all the wrong places. Since alcohol seems to be the shortcut to pregnancy instead of a healthy relationship, why not try Mandatory's 10 sober spots for meeting women, gentlemen? You never know what you might find.

    10. Artisan Workshop

    Creativity and passion go hand-in-hand, so exploring a new or familiar creative space is a great way to meet passionate people. Whether it's painting, pottery or knitting you're into (those three are progressively less manly), sign up and see where it takes you.

    Creativity evokes interesting conversations about its process and the result of hours of toiling, so use that to your advantage. You can have a laugh over your failed attempts at a self-portrait or meet someone who shares a common interest in the creative process.

    Again, if you're looking for a shortcut, you can just sign up to be the nude model to a women's painting workshop, but it might be best to leave something to her imagination when first meeting. If nothing else, you might pick up a new hobby that takes your mind off your sad state of loneliness.

    We're not saying you have to become someone's shaman and hike the highest mountains of Peru, but having an ability to open up is something that many men struggle with, whether it's through ignorance or embarrassment.

    Just the same as art workshops, creative and passionate people tend to gravitate towards these open-minded environments. Even if you've never done yoga before, go in with an open mind and sense of confidence that it'll be a good experience.

    Although yoga isn't a very social situation, it's easy to stick around and talk afterwards, as these are usually friendly environments. Ask a girl to go for a smoothie, which always hits the spot after a good stretch. If nothing else, you'll let out some stress of being alone and pining for love.

    A little culture never hurt anyone. Going out to an art opening or seeing a popular exhibit gets you out of the house and into a social place. Even if you have zero ability to discuss art, it at least shows that you'd rather see something new than stay home on the couch watching Lost all over again.

    If you've got a solid sense of humor, use it. Not every man has that inherent luxury though. The same way you can't make stupid into smart, you can't really learn to be funny. You can, however, go to a place where other people are funny. Women who are in a fun, feel-good place (like comedy shows) tend to be more open to conversation. So if you're not taking a girl there, maybe you can meet one there. It never hurt to bone up on a few good jokes before going. If nothing else, you can have a good laugh when the comedian inevitably makes a joke at your expense about how lonely you are.

    A good taste in music is the backbone of any good relationship. Hit up your favorite local venue and catch some live music. Drinks or not, everybody seems to be more social at night, and live music is a solid way to be sober and still put off a cool vibe.

    Just remember that if it's a Smash Mouth tribute band, you're only going to find a bunch of deaf girls and tasteless floozies. If nothing else, you can blow off some lonely steam through slow head banging.

    Ever hear of those travel groups full of complete strangers who go on trips into nature with their cameras and photograph everything they see. Those things actually exist.

    Take one of your passions and immerse yourself into a group of like-minded people. It's an incredibly easy way to hit it off with people who share common interests, and you don't even have to pretend to be someone you're not. Enjoy the nature, the quietness and the chance to experience life simply while you photograph it.

    If photography isn't your thing, go to a surfing meet-up or join a Civil War reenactment group. If nothing else, you'll take your mind off the fact that you're incredibly alone and went in the middle of nowhere with complete strangers to change it.

    3. Quiet Beach or Park

    Maybe the reason you find difficulty in meeting someone interesting is that you look in all the loud places and end up screaming to be heard to some girl you know nothing about. A quiet stroll in the park or reading a good book on the beach is always a solid option because the places you find peaceful and relaxing are likely going to be peaceful and relaxing to the other people there. It's all about being yourself and meeting people who are in the same headspace when you are doing just that.

    Books are always a good conversation topic, but you can always draw, paint, play music or just be. It's when you shove earphones into your ears that you cut yourself off from others, so think about that next time you're in a place where you can see yourself connecting. If nothing else, you can live vicariously through people around you who aren't as lonely.

    2. Dog Parks

    It may feel like cheating to use your furry buddy to meet a pretty gal, but you're a package deal so use the tools at your disposal. Dog parks are not only a good conversational spot to share stories about your dog's incessant love for its own feces, but they're also the road paved to getting dates you probably don't deserve.

    Ladies love to see men who care about something other than themselves, plus if you know any good tricks, that only shows you take a real interest in your canine companion. You can rent a rescue or borrow a dog from a friend, if that's what it takes, but we recommend you invest in a dog yourself. If you're desperate, at least avoid bringing an aggressive large breed in heat to the park, since forced animal intercourse is not the key to any woman's heart. If nothing else, having a pet can remove that dreadful feeling of loneliness all by itself.

Know the Code: Massage Parlors

    Massage parlors are tricky. How do you know if the masseuse will offer you a happy ending (if you're into that sort of thing) when she's done working out the kinks in your back? You don't want to ask for something extra only to find yourself thrown out onto the street wearing nothing but a towel. To get to the bottom of this mystery, we asked CJ the Erotic Masseuse to give us all the details and codes to know before you walk in the door of your local massage parlor.

    1. Find a Massage Parlor

    CJ Says: The easiest way to find a genuine massage parlor is by looking in the back-page ads of your local weekly entertainment paper, or even the phone book under "massage." Parlors tend to have extended evening hours and exotic/risque names. Avoid anything with the words "hair and nails" or "LMT" in the title.

    2. Make Contact

    CJ Says: Once you've found a likely candidate, don't call them up and ask if they give happy endings. No parlor will tell you anything incriminating over the phone. Ask what the price is for a session. If they mention that additional tipping may take place in the room, then this is a possible hint. Also, any place that advertises a "table shower" is a guaranteed parlor.

    CJ Says: Once you're there, I tell guys that the simplest way to tell if they're in a massage parlor is the "grandmother" test. Just ask yourself, would you send your grandmother to this place? If the high-security door, video cameras, blackened windows and industrial park-location make you lean toward "no," then you might be standing in a massage parlor.

    Conversely, if you're standing in a waiting room surrounded by female customers waiting to have their hair and nails done, then you are definitely not in a massage parlor. Here's a tip: In a massage parlor you will usually not see any female customers.

    4. Be Prepared

    CJ Says: Have plenty of cash and an open mind. If you have both in abundance, then you're guaranteed to have a good time. When you have a half-naked woman kneeling over you with your solidly erect privates in her hand whispering "yes, I can do that for an extra $20," nothing kills the mood quicker than asking if she takes Visa. Parlors hate using credit cards, and you really don't want to explain to your wife/boss why you have a charge of $300 from "Happy Time Rub Club." 

    I tell people to have at least $60 cash for the door fee.  This amount only books you for a massage session, nothing else.  If you can afford it, try one hour instead of 30 minutes, especially if you're a newbie. This gives you more time to actually relax and enjoy the session without concentrating too much on the happy ending.

    Also, keep an open mind and don't set your expectations too high. If you've been watching too much softcore porn on Cinemax, then you might be expecting a bevy of Pamela Anderson clones dressed in bad lingerie fighting over who gets to fulfill your every sexual desire as soon as you walk through the door. Instead, you might get a middle-aged woman who walks you to a room where you wait for the next masseuse available who may not exactly be your ideal fantasy babe. But with any luck, she'll put you at ease and get you to relax in a standard "relaxing massage" session.

    In the room, you should have ideally $100 in cash. This should be more than enough to seal the deal on a happy ending. You might end up spending a little more, or even a little less depending on what ends up happening in the room. On a side note, there is no maximum amount you can bring. If you want more than a standard massage and handjob, then be prepared to pay for it.

    5. What to Wear

    CJ Says: Nothing. When your masseuse asks you to "get comfortable," then leaves the room, your ass better be bare butt naked when she gets back. The code word she may use is "draping." Refusing the draping means that you want the happy-ending treatment instead of the purely therapeutic treatment. Whenever I find a guy still in his underwear, he gets a standard massage with no option of the happy ending. No arguments.

    6. "Options"

    CJ Says: Short for "clothing options." If your masseuse asks you what option you want, this is code for "So how naked do you want me?" My options are topless, g-string, and nude. Some places do not offer options and may have their girls perform the session fully clothed, or just strip down without even asking you for a preference.

    Here's a hint: If your masseuse asks you what clothing option you want, you don't have to ask about getting a happy ending. Her top's not coming off for therapeutic purposes.

    7. "Release"

    CJ Says: This is short for "hand release," and our technical term for a standard handjob. (Yes, we have technical jargon in my industry.) There are various styles of release, including breast, thigh and butt. A "mouth release" is the same as a blowjob.

    8. "Extras"

    CJ Says: This is code for anything else you want to do above and beyond the massage and handjob. This is where having the extra cash comes in handy.

    The most common extras that a newbie might be interested in are dirty talk, lingerie, two-girl, mutual massage and foot worship. Mutual massage is where the customer gets to massage the masseuse.     It seems like every day, some enterprising, illegal scientist is mixing up a new formulation of brain-altering chemicals. Whether it be bath salts, crystal meth or licking the back of a cane toad, people will go to any lengths to get high. This article will put you on the forefront of bizarre drugs, so you can act like you've already heard of them when somebody offers you some.

    Mephedrone

    Known on the street as meow meow, this designer drug comes in the form of powder or tablets, and is allegedly manufactured in China. The stimulant properties of this chemical are similar to those of khat, an eastern African plant used for energy. It was first synthesized in the late 1920s but underwent a resurgence starting in 2003 when a fun-loving chemist posted a recipe for it on the Internet. Since then, it's become a huge deal in England, where tabloid newspapers revel in publishing fake stories about dudes ripping their own nutsacks off while under the influence.

    Carbogen

    A drug doesn't have to be complicated to be weird. Something like carbogen, which contains just two ingredients, deserves a place on this list. Also known as Meduna's mixture after inventor Ladislas Meduna, this is just oxygen and carbon dioxide mixed in a way to give the brain the sensation of suffocation. It was once used in psychology as a way of determining whether a person could handle stronger psychotropic drugs, but some people use it recreationally. Carbogen huffers report seeing waves of color coupled with a sense of inner peace. Sounds pretty cool.

    Krokodil

    Doing drugs can have some serious repercussions on the body, but this is ridiculous. The synthetic morphine known as "krokodil" in Russia -- chemical name desomorphine -- was first invented in 1932 and was used in legitimate medicine for a while before being outlawed. Recently, it's enjoyed a resurgence in Russia because it's fairly easy to synthesize from codeine, iodine and red phosphorous, sort of like making meth. And like meth, it can really screw you up. It earned the name "krokodil" because of the effect it has on the skin of heavy users, drying it out and making users look like terrifying lizard creatures. Addicts have an average lifespan of just two to three years.

    Freon

    It's always funny to think about the first person to take something used for normal purposes and turn it into a way to get high. Take Freon: this commonly used refrigerant is in tons of machines, but you can also use it to get seriously ripped. By venting a Freon tank into a plastic bag, users can "huff" the gas like they would any other inhalants, but people who have tried it claim that it's several orders of magnitude more powerful. If nitrous oxide is beer, Freon is pure grain alcohol. Oh, and it can also kill you deader than a doornail by freezing your lungs solid, and you get brain damage from it no matter what.

    Ayahuasca

    This herbal concoction prepared from a South American vine is actually getting somewhat popular in recent years, with celebrities like Courtney Love praising its properties. OK, so maybe that's not the best endorsement. The vine is brewed into a tea with leaves from shrubs containing the psychedelic compound DMT. Users say that it gives you incredible hallucinations that can make you question your entire sense of identity, claiming that it's a life-changing trip like no other. It also makes you vomit like crazy and gives you explosive diarrhea, but we all have to make sacrifices.

    Scopolamine

    Many of the drugs on this list were originally invented for medical usage, and scopolamine is still on the market, employed for things like treating seasickness and other motion sicknesses. Astronauts even use it. This is, of course, in small doses. When you up the amount that goes into your body, then you're in trouble. Scopolamine in larger doses has a powerful and often very disturbing hallucinogenic effect. In Colombia, where it's used heavily, it's called "devil's breath," and is often used to dose unsuspecting victims, as it makes users incredibly passive and pliable. Once dosed, the scopolamine zombies will happily empty their bank accounts, perform sexual favors, or whatever else they're asked to do.

    Benzo Fury

    With the lab name 6-APB, Benzo Fury is a synthetic stimulant similar in composition to MDA that is still legal to manufacture and purchase in some countries. It's sold over the Internet as a "research drug," which means that the manufacturers don't tell you how to use it. Effects include a feeling of happiness and love towards others, as well as visual effects when eyes are closed, and mental imagery. So basically ecstasy, but legal. Unfortunately, it's also been connected to the deaths of multiple people. The danger with these drugs is that they're created by private labs and not tested, so their long-term effects are totally unknown.

    Diisopropyltryptamine

    One of the most interesting things about hallucinogenic drugs is how they affect the brain in different ways. A cool example is diisopropyltryptamine, which acts almost exclusively on your sense of hearing. Users report that when you first drop it, sounds start to seem flanged or shifted downwards, and the more you do, the lower the pitch seems to drop. That's pretty much the only thing it does, although some people report loss of balance and equilibrium. If you like bass, load up on this stuff, get your car stereo bumping and you'll be set for life.

    I-Dosing

    Let's save the dumbest for last, shall we? Unlike all of the other drugs on this list, there's no physical component to I-dosing: you get high just by listening to MP3 files. The science behind this isn't actually all that crazy -- you can certainly stimulate different parts of your brain with audio signals -- but claiming that listening to lousy trance music can perfectly simulate the effect of shooting up heroin is totally absurd. The manufacturer claims that his tracks use "binaural beats" to affect mental performance, but no scientist will back him up. I-dosing did make for some pretty hilarious local news stories when parents freaked out and confiscated a bunch of MP3 players, though.

While locals and even law enforcement officials often don't know that the odd rules exist, cops in some locales use obscure edicts to milk maximum money out of clueless tourists.     1. Fear the Females

    In Memphis, New Orleans and the whole state of Alabama, it's illegal for a woman to drive without a man walking or running in front of the vehicle waving a red flag to warn approaching pedestrians and drivers. Since the likelihood of a fine for this infraction is low, and the chance that your girlfriend will run you over if you try to enforce the rule is extremely high, we suggest risking the fee.

    You like beer, but how much do you really know about it? Do you know the difference between a lager and an ale? Sure, you know Guinness is a stout, but what makes it a stout? The answers to all these questions and more are about to be revealed, so put on your drinking pants, crack open a cold one and prepare to become the beer expert in your brew crew.

    How do you make beer?

    A very important question with a very important answer. So important, in fact, that some of the earliest known forms of writing in civilization refer to brewing, including the Babylonians' Code of Hammurabi. And fortunately, it's not that hard. (For anyone interested in trying it for themselves, home brewing kits are fairly inexpensive.) The ingredients are pretty simple: water, barley and hops. Much like in the Scotch-making process, beer begins with hot water and crushed barley (malt) combined into a mash.

    Hops are added to the mash to give beer its flavor, and then the mixture is cooled and the yeast does its thing, converting the sugars to alcohol. Naturally occurring yeasts can get the job done, but most brewers add specially formulated yeast cultures to more reliably control the fermentation.

    Once fermentation is finished, brewers will generally filter the beer with a clarifying agent to make it clear. From there, the beer goes into a keg, can, bottle -- whatever you like -- and is ready to be chilled and served.

    Lager

    Lager is the beer you are likely most familiar with, as it's the most popular type of beer in the world. Pretty much all your major high-volume domestic beers are lagers (Budweiser, Coors, etc.) as well as the major imports like Heineken, St. Pauli Girl and Harp. Corona and El Presidente serve as Mexico's contributions to the lager landscape. Lagers are made with a cold fermentation, using a bottom-fermenting yeast, which results in a clean-tasting, light, clear brew that appeals to just about everyone, hence its popularity.

    Ale

    The major difference between pale ales and lagers, as far as the beermaking process goes, is that ales get their kick from a top-fermenting yeast as opposed to the bottom-fermenting yeast of a lager. Top-fermenting yeasts, which form a head on the beer as it ferments, can yield higher alcohols and ferment at higher temperatures than their bottom-dwelling counterparts. The most well-known ales here in the U.S. are Bass, Newcastle Brown Ale and Pete's Wicked, with Sierra Nevada serving as the gateway I.P.A., though the ale category has seen a big rise in popularity over the past decade, with local microbrewed ales popping up just about everywhere.

    Wheat Beer

    Wheat beer is, not surprisingly, made with wheat rather than barley, or at least with a high percentage of wheat to barley in the mash. It's also top-fermented like an ale. Hoegaarden is probably the most popular of the wheat beers here, but other contenders include Shock Top and Blue Moon.

    Lambic

    Lambic is the rare beer that is made without cultivated yeast. In Belgian breweries where lambic is made, the naturally occurring yeasts are permitted to convert the fermentation on their own, without the assistance of cultures. Lambics tend to be rather sour thanks to the natural yeasts, and they're also frequently flavored with fruits to offset the sourness, as in Framboises and Krieks. The Lindemans label is the easiest lambic to find in the U.S.
