If you are a fan of the hit AMC drama "Mad Men," then you know that Season 6 premieres this Sunday, April 7. You also know that drinking is a large part of the show, and if you really want to get into the spirit while watching, you should invite some friends over and whip up some adult beverages for it. Here are a couple ideas for you, starting with a cocktail inspired by the show called Man About Town (created by Scott Fitzgerald, Greenwich Project in NYC).

Ingredients:
1.5. oz. Brugal 1888
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
.75 oz. Campari
1 dash Orange Bitters
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Preparation:
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain and serve on the rocks; garnish with an orange peel.

This time the main ingredient is Brugal's refreshingly dry rum, but it is paired with something unexpected - maple syrup. It all comes together to create the Basil Expedition (also created by Scott Fitzgerald), a sweet and refreshing alternative for "Mad Men" fans who want to sip along with Don, Roger, Pete and company.

2 oz. Brugal Extra Dry Rum
1 oz. Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Maple Syrup
1 Tangerine
3 Basil Leaves
Preparation:
Muddle tangerine in a cocktail shaker. Combine Brugal, juice, syrup and basil on top of tangerine. Shake with ice, and fine strain into a coupe. Garnish with a basil leaf.
