We view viral videos pretty willy-nilly these days, as there are so many making the rounds, it's difficult to truly take in all aspects of one before moving on to the next. While there are plenty that are simply funny, cute or heartwarming no matter how you look at them, others have a darker side that likely went unnoticed by the masses. Think about it: How many videos have you seen that more than likely completely shattered the subject's future? Be warned, once you stop and take a closer look at the following examples, you may never laugh at them again (but you probably will).
Worst Wedding DJ EVER!
The life of a small-time wedding DJ in Florida can't be glamorous. It just can't. However, surely it's at least peaceful, knowing that you can do the bare minimum and still get fairly steady work. And while this DJ, known as "Fast Eddie," was ultimately not even paid for this gig due to his behavior, now he has the misfortune of being the titty-slapping guy for the rest of his life. Though the job offers continue to roll in, this is what people want to see. Anyone but Fast Eddie, whose sad credo seems to be "If the guy paid me enough money, sure," would probably not want to show their face again.

Rebecca Black - Friday
Look, it's bad enough that poor Rebecca Black was teased relentlessly to the point of having to be home-schooled for this terrible song, but that's not even the real issue. After all, viral videos come and go, and people will move on to ripping on the next one soon enough. The real reason we feel Rebecca's life is ruined is because no matter what she does in her music career from her on out, she will always have to pander to her first single (see: "Saturday") and will never truly be taken seriously for the one thing she really wanted to do.

"I Don't Like You, Mommy" Kid
This poor soul. At three years old, young Justin made the huge mistake of telling his overbearing mother that, sometimes, he doesn't like her all that much. Why do we assume his mother is overbearing? Well, mostly due to the fact that she's been hounding her son every few years since, asking him how he feels about what he said. She's clearly just fishing for more viral success, and if we were Justin, we probably wouldn't like her much either.

Tron Guy
We have a similar problem with this guy, although we blame him and only him for his misfortunes, as you have to know when to stop. And by that, we mean chalk your initial viral success up as a loss, NOT a gain, and move on. You see, Tron Guy seemed to think he was pretty cool and interesting after his video took off. It turned out, like everyone has said for the history of the world, you shouldn't wear out your welcome.

"Teenage Dream" Boy
Former child star Mara Wilson of "Matilda" fame recently wrote a piece for Cracked.com on why child stars go crazy, with one of the reasons being that they get used to the love and attention, and then lose it. Tell us how you think Keenan Cahill will feel once Katy Perry and 50 Cent stop calling him once his schtick runs dry. Sure, he had a great run and we're very happy for him, but now what?

Howard Dean Scream
Sometimes the Internet can be your friend, and other times, your foe. In this case, it was clearly a foe, as many experts have claimed that Howard Dean's scream in this video attributed immensely to his fallout from the 2004 presidential election. We really can't think of a bigger consequence to a viral video than that.

"Star Wars" Kid
It doesn't take much thought to come up with numerous reasons why this kid's life probably sucked a great deal after this video came to light. After all, it has now been seen over 1 billion times. Maybe it's best to try to think of the positives here instead. It was only high school, right? Plus, it was one of the very first viral videos, which is kind of historic in a way, not to mention low def. Yeah, we like that a lot better than the truth.

Don't Taze Me, Bro!
Sure, security may have overreacted a tad to this young hooligan's remarks during a Q & A with Senator John Kerry, but they weren't specifically the ones in the spotlight due to the fact that they weren't flailing their limbs about and screaming like a baby the whole time. Let's face it, this guy will continue to be the brunt of many a joke until the next idiot who thinks he's totally awesome bites off more than he can chew and gets it captured on film. Yeah, like you'll ever see anything like that on the Internet again.

"Hey, Jude" Baby
Before you get up in arms, we are admitting right away that we are just being cute with this one. But talk about setting the bar way too high for yourself for the rest of your life. I bet when he used the big boy potty for the first time, he got crickets. OK, maybe some parental applause. That's nothing compared to 35 million views.

Racist Michael Richards
There is no "likely" about it here. Michael Richards career as he knew it was flushed down the tubes after this video went viral. It has to feel pretty damn miserable to let something like that come out of your mouth, but to then have everyone hear you say it across the country over and over again is the lowest of the low. To say something so foul that it indisputably wipes out your entire career to that point is no easy task, but he makes it look that way here. Warning: You will feel extremely uncomfortable watching this video, regardless of how many times you have already seen it.

Boemerang
We'll end on a video whose aftermath is narrated as it goes along. We're sure most of you have seen this one by now, but if not, prepare to laugh but also feel very bad about yourself at the same time. This guy not only lost his TV career due to a bout with the giggles at the worst possible time, but also really takes this piece on viral sensations having their lives ruined full circle, by winding up a terrible DJ. Sound familiar?
(Editor's note: Yes, the "Boemerang" video is fake and was actually part of a Flemish sketch comedy show, but it really illustrates the theme of this feature well, don't you think?)
