It's official. People in the Netherlands are just as stupid as everybody else on the planet.
A video uploaded to YouTube yesterday shows surveillance footage from a Dutch train station in 2011 in which a woman had to duck back under a crossing arm to avoid being smoked by an oncoming train.
According to Huffington Post, Dutch railway company ProRail decided to air the old footage to warn people about the dangers of ducking under crossing arms, which we're assuming would begin with something like "You're going to get run over by a train."
No word on why the woman was in such a hurry to get across the tracks. We'll assume that if it was because she needed to use the can, it was no longer an issue after that scare.
