You Shouldn't Mess With Some People

There are some things in this world you just don't do, like going into a dark neighborhood waving a gun around, or scaring a guy you probably shouldn't be scaring. You know April Fools Day isn't for everybody.

A Not-So-Sweet Surprise

If you're planning on using delicious pastries as a diversion tactic to scare someone, you can still expect the worst reaction. Vomit is not a reaction you'd expect, but vomit is always in the cards (Editor's note: We realize that a few of these prank videos are scripted, but they are still entertaining).

Bad News Can Inspire Worse Reactions

You know when you make a joke and then it goes someplace completely different, like a reality you always feared would happen and wouldn't be a joke at all? Well, should you play a mean joke on your wife, she might get you back real good...with your brother, no less. Ouch.

Careful with Explosives

Shower pranks have been the default way of harassing an unarmed, defenseless friend for years. Cold water over the shower was popular until people started throwing explosives in there and blowing up all the porcelain. Now you have to go check and make sure your naked friend is okay, then clean up the porcelain with said naked friend. It's an awkward way to start the day.

Pranks Do Backfire, Literally

If you're thinking of getting people with a magic trick, think first before pouring flammable liquid on a man's head (even if that man is a magician himself, in this case Wayne Houchin). If you're not great at putting out fires, it might be time to rethink that game plan, or you could end up in jail.

Cover Your Ass

Obviously, prank fails are unexpected. However, this seems to be a likely candidate for obvious failure. In all honesty, having someone help you out of this (paper) jam would be more haunting than the photocopies themselves. Things happen for a reason.

Be Cautious of Overreactions

Some guys will do anything to get their mothers out of the house, like destroying the priceless family heirlooms and forcing her to jump to her death. But hey, you do what you have to do to watch your daytime stories alone.

Making a Bad Situation Worse (but Funnier)

It's too funny to watch your friends and coworkers make complete asses of themselves, especially after you try to warn them. "Mad Men" returns April 7, everyone.

Kicking Small Children

It doesn't really matter how old you are; if you're going around scaring people, you probably deserve a beating. We've been saying that these horrifying hidden camera pranks need to go for some time now, and this is why.

Prankster May Become Prankee

There's nothing like the ol' switcheroo. Middle-aged office guys and their funny jokes, it never gets old.

Some Women Suck at Jokes

Nevermind the fact that she is a blonde cougar who probably thought she was being funny. It's one of those scenarios, like when you're on a date and she keeps telling terrible stories about her family, thinking it's funny. Meanwhile, you have to keep coming up with excuses as to why you need to use the bathroom.

Evil Witch Sister

This feels like something people can do everyday. Hell, I had someone throw me a dog treat today telling me it was a new flavor Combo. Some people are assholes; you just have to look for that smirk on their face to know you're about to chomp on some kibble. Always have your guard up around jerks like this.

Liability of Bodyguard Bystanders

Most people only see plans up to a certain point, like robbing the local bank, grabbing the money and realizing you don't know where the exits are located. The same goes for martial artists hiding in public; you never know when one will knock you out cold during your clever getaway.

People May Already be Having a Bad Day on April Fools' Day

Not everyone celebrates it like you do. Be prepared for a guy who most likely takes anger out on his friends and family to be more than happy to redirect his anger towards a total stranger.
