Tapas is a scam. Every time I go out to a restaurant that specializes in Tapas (overpriced small plates for the uninitiated), I end up leaving broke and starving. To better illustrate this point, we put the average price of a regular non-tapas meal price next to a standard Tapas meal with it's giant pile of tiny plates.

I know Tapas has been around forever, but it seems like every restaurant in the universe figured out that if they sell minuscule plates of regular food, but with a sprig of micro greens or a dusting of wasabi powder, then they can charge nearly the same as a real meal with a real amount of food. Fuck you, Tapas.
