Willa Ford Will Rock You

Willa Ford was born Amanda Lee Williford, so you can clearly see where Willa Ford came from. She was raised in Ruskin, Florida and was interested in singing at a very young age.

Willa Ford has gone by many names in her career. As an 18-year-old making her way into the pop music scene, she performed under the stage name Mandah. She changed it soon after to Willa Ford to avoid confusion with Mandy Moore. Later in life, after marrying NHL player Mike Modano, she would also be referred to as Mandy Modano.

After opening for the Backstreet Boys in 2000, Willa broke out in 2001 with her debut album, Willa Was Here. It featured the hit single "I Wanna Be Bad," and Ford called herself the "Bad Girl of Pop."

By achieving celebrity status with her music, Willa Ford also became a popular television personality and signed a hosting contract with Viacom. She hosted several reality shows on MTV, and in 2005 Ford hosted the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter" on Spike TV.

After the finale of "The Ultimate Fighter," Willa Ford sang lead for The Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas for nearly a year. All of her shows were sold out.

During halftime of Super Bowl XL in 2006, Ford played quarterback for the Dallas Desires in the Lingerie Bowl, which was shown on pay-per-view. In March of that year, she was featured in a nude pictorial in Playboy.

To top everything off, Willa Ford is also a successful actress. She has a recurring role on the Starz original series "Magic City," and was in the 2009 reboot of the "Friday the 13th" franchise.
