Social media has given celebrities a way to interact with fans on a personal level like never before. Fortunately for us, this kind of access for celebrities isn't always a good thing. Some individuals have not handled themselves with grace, considering they have access to millions of fans at the push of a button. Here are some of our favorite idiotic moves by celebs on the good old Internet.
Let's start with Ashton Kutcher, who sent off this tweet about the firing of Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. This was all without being aware of the entire Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal that was the reason for the firing.

After being called out, Kutcher took to his Twitter to apologize and then relinquished control of the account to his "handlers."

Now that Bow Wow isn't "Lil" anymore, he is allowed to do adult things. Like drinking. However, it probably wasn't a great idea to tweet to all of his fans about how wasted he was while driving his car around. The tweet wasn't enough to get him arrested, but he did apologize shortly after:
"Apologize for that tweet. it was stupid and immature. not a way i want to kick my #2010 year off. i got too much good stuff lined up. my bad."

Chris Brown is ... uh ... whatever the exact opposite of America's Sweetheart is. Thanks to incident after incident, he's made himself very easily unlikeable. Take this exchange on Twitter with comedian Jenny Johnson for example.

Courtney Love may or may not have embarrassed herself in public before. Here is everyone's favorite Mother of the Year as she tries to communicate with estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain on Twitter.

Kanye West is no stranger to controversy. The conceited rapper who loves to interrupt also enjoys making people scratch their heads on Twitter. The next few slides are a few of Kanye's gems. This first one is pretty ironic, considering his current situation.

Lately, Kanye has just been tweeting single words at a time. I'm hoping these are all names he's considering for his child. "Soul Authenticity Kardashian-West" has a great ring to it.

For these next couple of slides, we use the term "celebrity" very loosely. Tila Tequila, the first big star of MySpace, has moved onto Facebook with the rest of us. It's there that she sets off on all sorts of rants about the Illuminati, her weird dreams, and dying and coming back to life.

How could we have any Celebrity Don'ts guide without Lindsay Lohan? While it's hard to narrow it down, this tweet makes the cut. Right before Hurricane Sandy demolished the east coast, causing billions and billions in damages, Lohan sent off this fantastic tweet.
